Do Not Put Down The Drain
When you turn on your faucet, typically the water goes down the drain, and you never see it again, unless you have a clog. What we put down our drains and toilets can negatively impact our environment and put our health at risk. Even items labeled "flushable" can clog pipes, tangle pumps and result in messy and costly sewer backups.
We recommend disposal of chemicals and paints to Dane County Clean Sweep located at 7102 US Hwy 12, Madison, WI 53718
Fats, Oils Grease: Grease hardens when it cools which is a problem for not only City sewer mains. It is also a problem for homeowner’s sewer laterals or pipes. Let the cooking oil/grease harden and dispose in the trash.
